Rebecca Champey

Director of Accounting Operations

Rebecca Champey manages the day-to-day operations of the property accounting and accounts payable teams. She is responsible for overseeing the team’s client and regulatory reporting. Additionally, Rebecca is focused on process improvements and efficiency enhancements, as well as finding opportunities to integrate the accounting team’s procedures with other Wingate departments. Rebecca has more than 25 years of accounting experience in the real estate industry, with a focus on finding solutions to improving and streamlining reporting. Prior to joining Wingate in 2021, Rebecca served as Real Estate Portfolio Controller at Northland Investment Corporation, a real estate management company focused on the acquisition, development, and management of multifamily and mixed-use real estate throughout the United States. In this role, Rebecca oversaw the monthly and quarterly internal reporting as well as annual audited financial reporting. Prior to Northland, Rebecca worked for 23 years at Boston Financial Investment Management, a national leader in LIHTC equity investments. During her tenure at Boston Financial, Rebecca served as the Director of Business Solutions and the Director of Portfolio Analysis and Reporting.
