Lauren Paton is a seasoned real estate executive with more than 35 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry, bringing a unique combination of operational expertise and strategic human resources leadership. As Vice President of Human Resources, Lauren leads Wingate’s human capital strategy, overseeing human resources, payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition to support the organization’s performance and growth. 

Lauren has held operational leadership roles across leading organizations, including AvalonBay Communities, Forest City Residential/Brookfield, and Greystar. Having led teams and supported property operations firsthand, she brings a practical, business-driven perspective to HR by ensuring people strategies are aligned with the realities of onsite operations and organizational goals. 

She is known for building effective, people-focused programs that enhance employee engagement, strengthen talent pipelines, and support operational success across the organization.
