Femi Kennedy

Regional Property Manager

Femi Kennedy joined Wingate in March 2026 as a Regional Property Manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience in affordable housing with a specialized focus on Project-Based Section 8 and LIHTC communities. Beginning his career in maintenance and advancing to regional leadership, Femi offers a comprehensive, ground-up understanding of property operations and asset performance. 

In his role, Femi oversees a portfolio of seven properties totaling 779 units throughout Central Florida. He is responsible for all aspects of portfolio performance, including site team leadership, owner and investor reporting, physical asset management, regulatory compliance, tenant relations, and legal coordination. His broad operational expertise and hands-on approach support strong community performance and long-term asset stability. 

Femi’s background includes serving as a Regional Property Manager since 2019, following roles as a Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. Throughout his career, he has successfully led lease-ups and community initiatives, including Columbus Court Apartments in 2017 and Jackson Heights in 2015. He was also recognized as the City of Tampa Citizen of the Year in 2016 for his community impact.
